Overview

Great Weekend

We had a very pleasant weekend at the Waldorf staying in a very spacious King room which seemed recently renovated with all modern amenities (flat-screen, iPod clock-radio etc.) while retaining its classical style. Bathroom was renovated too, although on the small side with shower only. Perfectly adequate though. Room was on 10th floor, so no view but very silent. Service was overall good, although cleaning was a bit erratic; soap and shampoo was not restocked over the weekend.
Staying at this art-deco landmark with its spectacular public rooms and atmosphere is something we would highly recommend, particularly if for the <400$ weekend rates.

Great-sized, well-decorated rooms, generous bath, public space with energy, very polite & helpful staff, and even good food in the restaurants!!

One Night Stay

We were simply delighted to stay at the Waldorf-Astoria. It has such a history. Our room was clean and satisfactory. Next time we may opt to stay in a larger room. The location was great. The staff was accommodating.
