Overview
From its historic cast-iron facade to its radical art-world legacy, Soho sits at the epicenter of downtown style and activity. The Soho Grand Hotel is the first hotel to be built in the neighborhood for more than a century.
Soho Grand style is unmistakably timeless. The intimate relaxed décor matches perfectly with the uncomplicated taste of the hotel's classic American cuisine. Whether lounging over drinks or gathering for a meal, every dining option is as social and seductive as the city itself.
Even in the city, it's possible to get intimate. Relaxed and sumptuously refined, with a view overlooking West Broadway, the Grand Bar & Lounge offers space to come together and mix in the Soho scene. There is a reason it's known as “Soho's Living Room.”
Modeled on traditional Soho loft spaces, the Soho Grand's luxury penthouse lofts offer the ultimate urban setting in an ultra-posh two-room bedroom space. The comfortable interior sits beautifully with the views of the Manhattan skyline.
Faultlessly designed guest rooms prove that classic sophistication doesn't only show on the outside. Minimal and romantic, the Soho Grand rooms are cast in soft natural tones, accented with an eight-foot bank of windows for an eye on downtown life.

The hotel has a great location in the Soho district of NYC. Surrounded by many restaurants, cafes and retail shops. The hotel is very clean and comfortable with a very friendly staff. The hotel has a very fun social scene in the evenings. -Robert Chaisson , from Destrehan, United States - 8/31/2009

This was a trip I was taking my mother on for her birthday. Room was small and they told me that they were going to upgrade me to a King Corner and this never happened.
Then they accused of us smoking and we do not smoke. They were going to charge $150.00 extra for smoking until I gave them a piece of my mind and so did my mom.
It overall was disappointing..... Especially since it was my Mom's return to NYC for the first time in 20 years.

The hotel's location in the middle of Soho is perfect. The common parts are very stylish, particularly the bar and lounge areas. We felt the rooms were rather basic and a bit gloomy and would benefit from some refurbishment. -Rosemary Ferm , from Leeds, England - 12/3/2007
