Overview
In 1940, Mrs. Florida Lasier of Chicago snagged her silk stockings on a wild blackberry bramble while exploring the idyllic Smoky Mountain foothills, and Blackberry Farm was born. Thirty-six years later, the Beall family invested their hearts and souls in the same romantic site that became their family home and lifelong passion. Today, one of America's most celebrated intimate luxury hotels beckons discerning guests who aspire to escape modern-day frenzy and slip into a Blackberry state of mind. Directions:
From Knoxville's McGhee Tyson Airport in Alcoa/Maryville, Tennessee:
Approximately 18 miles/25 minutes.
1. When leaving the airport, take 129 South toward Maryville.
2. Merging into the left lane at the split, follow the sign for Highway 321 toward Townsend and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You will pick up 321 North in Maryville.
3. Pass Blount Memorial Hospital on the left continuing on 321 North approximately 10 miles passing the Foothills Parkway entrance and exit.
4. Where the four lane road becomes two lanes, immediately turn right onto West Millers Cove Road, noted by a small green street sign. (Please be aware that, for the privacy of our guests, there is no directional sign on the highway that identifies Blackberry Farm.)
5. Continue 3.5 miles to where the white rail fencing begins on your left. Continue past two gated entrances until you see the sign for Blackberry Farm, turning left into our driveway. Our team will greet you at the covered entrance to the Oak Cottage.

Because of our size, cancellations affect us significantly. Therefore, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to arrival will result in a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations, regardless of the reason, made within 30 days of your confirmed arrival date will result in forfeiture of your deposit. All deposits are non-transferable to another date. However, you are always welcome to send a friend or family member in your place.
Rates, minus $100, are available for a single-occupancy stay. Rates do not include all applicable taxes and a 18% service charge.
Children:
Children 10 and over are welcome throughout the year; children under 10 are welcome during holidays and Family Months, June 15 to August 15, when Camp Blackberry is in session. Camp Blackberry holidays include Easter, Memorial Day, June 15 to August 15, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. (It does not include the New Year's holiday).
Nightly Charges for Children:
Children under 3 years of age may stay in their parent's room free of charge.
Charges for children 3-10 years of age, staying in their parent's room, will be $125 per child, per night, plus tax and service charge. This standard room charge covers meals, pantry snacks, sodas, and the evening Camp Blackberry "Dinner and a Movie" session. Daily programs not included.
Charges for children 11 years and older staying in adult's room will be $250 per person, per night, plus tax and service charge.
Dining:
All meals are special events at Blackberry Farm, and our Culinary Team takes great pride in using only the finest ingredients to create memorable cuisine. Breakfast, brunch, and candlelight dinners are enjoyed in the dining room. Lunch at Blackberry Farm is a casual affair and is available at 12:00pm daily. On your day of departure, a picnic lunch will be placed in your vehicle for your journey home. Backpacks, blankets and trail maps are available from the Oak Cottage for exploring the 4,200 acres of Blackberry Farm. Ask any team member for his or her favorite picnic spot.
Rates include the evening meal and breakfast and lunch the following day. If you would like to enjoy extra meals on the day of your arrival or departure, please let us know in advance so that arrangements can be made. Also, upon confirmation of your reservation, please advise us of any special dietary restrictions or requests. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket at dinner, but tie is optional.
Arrival and Departure:
Rooms are available for check-in at 4:00 p.m. Departure is at 12 noon. While we make every attempt to accommodate early arrivals, we cannot guarantee room availability before 4:00 p.m. However, we can store your luggage in the event of early arrival or late departure.
