We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Monmouth Plantation and in today's lodging environment probably not for an obvious reason. The price we agreed to was the price we paid. No additional charges sprung on us at checkout as with some establishments on this vacation. The room, grounds, food and especially the employees were all wonderful. The bellman, Hal, was one of the nicest and informative people people I have ever met. If all of America was like Hal, what a great country we once again would be.

Directions:
Direction to the Property from North - From Baton Rouge, Louisiana: Approximately 92 miles. Take Highway 61N to Natchez. After entering the city limits, go through 4 traffic lights. At the 5th traffic light, take a left onto Melrose-Montebello Parkway. Go through the flashing light, continue to the next traffic light, and take a left onto John Quitman Parkway. Monmouth Plantation is on your immediate left.
Direction to the Property from West - From Jackson, Mississippi: Approximately 102 miles. Take I-55 South to Brookhaven,Mississippi. Take Highway 84 to Highway 61 to Natchez. Go throuh four traffic lights on Business 61, turn left onto Junkin Street. Go through one traffic light and , at the next traffic light, take a right onto John Quitman Parkway. Monmouth Plantation is on up on a hill on your left.
