The Peabody - Little Rock's staff was amazing! Very helpful and very friendly. My sister and I had to leave Florida a day early from our vacation with the threat of Hurricane Gustav. We did not want to risk the chance of getting caught in evacuee traffic from New Orleans and other Gulf cities. We tried to find hotels in Alabama and Tenn. but so many were sold out. We made the decision to make it all the way to Little Rock and treat ourselves to a night at the Peabody. We arrived at 11:00pm with many other travelers escaping the hurricane. The staff was at their best. They were quick to get us taken care of, as well as everyone else. Being so late, we went right to our room and fell right to sleep in extremely comfortable beds! When we woke up the next morning, we had wonderful coffee and danishes from the To Go counter. And of course we watched the Ducks! My only concerns were tiny black bugs all over the bathroom (which the Manager handled) and the time it took to get our car from val

My husband and I arrived around 3:00 to the hotel. Our room was not ready until six p.m. The wait was too long. Most hotel are ready with their rooms at that time. It was just disappointing not to go and rest when we arrived at the time we did.
