Briefly, the desk help when we arrived about midnight was atrocious. A big shock for such a high end hotel. This woman was very rude. She continually complained about the hotel being too full, what with the Northwestern Mutual convention. The regular daytime desk crew were fine. The restaurant was fine (Mason Street Grill). The rooms in the tower were VERY noisy. Thin walls on both sides, and hearing the neighbors off and on didn't seem to be consistent, again, with a AAA 4 diamond hotel.

This was a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed being so close to the activities by the lake and downtown. The room did not look like the picture on-line but was nice and clean. The pool area had a wonderful view of the city but looks like it needs updating. The price for parking seemed high.

I have stayed at this property a few times and each time has been great. The customer service is outstanding. Although, the waitresses at Blu, the bar on the top floor, are not friendly. Maybe they are just under staffed. We stayed in a suite the last time. It was awesome. The price was very reasonable. The T.V. in our bedroom did not work. I would recommend the Pfister and I will be staying there again in the future.

Beautiful and Spacious, but Street Noise on the Lo

The lobby is beautiful and the service was excellent. The desk clerk actually opened the closed gift shop later in the evening to accommodate a beverage request. The two-room suite was lovely, and large; the marble bathroom well-appointed.
The one drawback, we had to move to the highest floor because the buses were deafening. The eighth (and highest floor in the vintage part of the hotel) had lots of light, good views, and less noise (though there was still some).
Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was good.

Great historic hotel in super downtown Milwaukee location. Close to Lake Michigan, Summerfest grounds, shopping, dining and nightspots. Extremely comfortable beds and very nice rooms.

It was an out of the country experience in a Milwaukee setting. I stayed at the Pfister to celebrate my 30th birthday. It was the best birthday present I had ever received and the most enjoyable. The staff treated me like royalty from the moment I walked into the lobby and until I departed. It is best experience I've ever had. The food was wonderful and my experience at Blu was delightful. It is an excellent place to spend some quality time in a luxurious setting. I will be back again. Thank you Management and staff for a wonderful memory.

A Fun Escape

We were attending a nearby bead show, and found a good price online. I grew up in Mke, and was always curious about the famous Pfister. The extremely rococo lobby did not disappoint, and our room was similarly ornate - not my personal style, but fun for a getaway. Very comfortable bed, spacious, good amenities.

My girlfriend and I had a great time at the Pfister. The service was perfect. I would recommend this hotel. The only thing we had a problem with was the price on food and the room. But our time here was worth it.
