The room was small and the was bathroom tiny, but it had everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The location is excellent, a block off of Michigan. The affordable price ($159.00 1st night and $139.00 second night) that I was able to obtain through Perfect Escapes, is why we stayed at the Whitehall.

Visited from England. Not up to the standard expected and certainly didn't match the marketing. DDD rating - Dull Dark and Dingy. Definitely in need of an update and take a [flashlight] if you don't want a headache. In the corridor you can hear everything going on in a room!!! Very small rooms and insufficient storage, no coffee making facility and no views. Good point - bed very comfy. Hotel central being opposite 4 Seasons. Would not consider returning and definitely not what I would consider a romantic hotel.
