Enjoyed the Stay

The villas are on a golf course property - very quiet and relaxing environment, outdoors is absolutely beautiful. The villas themselves are very clean and spacious, however, need some TLC (our bathroom had some leaks and cracks here and there). All staff members were very attentive, from the front desk to the housekeeping, truly positive experience. The villas are also very close to Disney World. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would most certainly stay there again in the future. -Maiu Fischer , from Kirkland, United States - 10/15/2009
Spacious and Convenient

Club suite was quite spacious and room was nicely decorated. Not an ultra-luxe bath (no marble, etc.) but nice size. Lovely pool area, with water temp at a comfortable leisure swim temp. Sometimes pools are way too cold to even use - not here. Excellent breakfast with a lovely view of the golf course. Very pleasant staff. Note, if you are on a top floor, you will be walking - no elevator. Could hear people next door, but fairly quiet overall. Easy access to Disney and Universal, close to outlet mall also. Would definitely stay again. -Sue, from Winnetka, United States - 8/11/2009

Beautiful

The hotel's grounds and rooms were so beautiful and peaceful. We had a patio right on a little waterway with ducks that came right up to the door and slept right by my chair, as I watched the plethora of wildlife going about their day---ducks, herons, lizards and big turtles, to name a few. The room was very comfortable, the pool area delightful and the food very good at the restaurant. We were very pleased, indeed. -Barbara A Reid Tackitt, from Los Angeles, United States - 5/1/2009
Nice Place to Stay for Our Visit to Disney World

The hotel gave you a lot for the money. The "villa" included a master bedroom with sitting room, bathroom, dining room, kitchen and large living room. The quality was OK (finishes OK and villa in good shape, but not top notch such as granite counter tops, marble showers, etc). Access to Hyatt pools, pitch and put, lake, etc was nice. Overall, for our family it was a excellent choice for the money. -David Gerard , from oak brook, United States - 4/7/2009

Quiet and Relaxing

Beautiful room, great view and very friendly room service. Breakfast at the Club House was rather disappointing due to very slow and unfriendly service. -U + M, from Bensheim, Germany - 10/17/2008
Favorite Hotel

I have stayed at The Villas numerous times and love the place. The customer service is exceptional. It is so quiet and cozy. The rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are very large and fancy with jetted tubs. The thing I like best is that The Villas have a "sister " property called the Hyatt Grand Cypress, they offer a free shuttle that will show up at your villa door within minutes of calling. The Hyatt has a wonderful pool, with waterfalls and caves that are lit up at night. The Villas shuttle van will also drop you off at the bottom of a guard station where you can walk to many restaurants and reasonable souvenir shops. Downtown Disney is only 1.5 miles away. Also there are free charter buses to all of the parks at certain times of the day. Staying at the villas is so easy and relaxing, You don't have the hustle and bustle that you would staying at a Disney resort with tons of kids. (did that) Staying here you get the best of both worlds, Disney AND Relaxation. -Shannon Sweeney , from millville, United States - 9/2/2008
Stay on the 2nd Floor
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
The accommodations and staff were outstanding. Everything was clean and just as it was pictured online. The only problem was at night, when trying to sleep... the guests upstairs (which we didn't even know there was an upstairs based on the layout) came in late, and every step they took caused a loud squeak....it was extremely annoying. Once they stopped walking around, all was fine. It was a bit disappointing to find that the bicycle rentals and driving range shut down so early in the evening (6 or 7 PM) when there was so much daylight left, especially since a $15 fee is charged and we never got a chance to use anything (we only stayed one night). Overall it was very beautiful and peaceful but close enough to drive to any of the "commercialized" attractions. We would stay again if we got the same rate deal ($125/night). -Timothy Riener , from Oak Creek, United States - 8/5/2008

Villas At Grand Cypress

Service was excellent: Timely and attentive, friendly but not fawning. All staff worked to make our stay enjoyable. From reception staff to housekeeping staff. This is a high functioning resort.
Suite was excellent and exactly as described. Golf courses and academy were in good condition, especially given the lack of rain. Staff again were excellent.
My only caution is that this is a small resort; so the variety of services is limited (one pool, 2 restaurants). However, if you want variety, you can always take the shuttle to the Hyatt at Grand Cypress. The Hyatt is close enough to use, and far enough away that the noise and activity level don't get in the way of a very restful vacation.
I would definitely recommend this resort. -Mark Hundert , from Toronto, Canada - 4/11/2008
