Petty Fees

$5 to print a boarding pass. No coffee pot in room, which is nice for an anytime coffee, especially when room service rates are truly outrageous. No room in fridge to put in a water bottle. You have to call down for wine glasses?? I told them I was doing late check-in (9pm) in advance as a courtesy, so you would think they wouldn't hassle me if I wanted 4pm checkout? Resort fee of $28 a day seems steep to us. -Richard A, from Portland, United States - 4/14/2010

The room had a great view and was squeaky clean. The spa was a sybarites dream and the staff efficient and friendly. Would have been nice if at least one of the outdoor pools had been heated. Hard to understand why they don't do this. -Thomas, from madison, United States - 2/9/2010

We received an upgrade to the side of the hotel that overlooks the Red Rock Canyon but we never received the fruit basket that was promised. Valet parking is part of the hotel and it is not a benefit. Nice Spa facility. -Nancy P, from Daly City, United States - 1/29/2010
Beautiful

Good service from the time you arrive- in every area. The rooms were modern and beautiful with a large flat screen TV in LR & BR plus small one over bathtub. Spa facilities included and they were well appointed and attended. This is one to repeat! -Patrick W, from IRVINE, United States - 12/30/2009

We loved our fashionable room, very modern and luxurious! Clean and just beautiful. Only thing was we wished it had a fridge to put things in not so much a stocked "extremely pricey" fridge. But the Hotel/Casino was very nice and the room was large and just comfortable. Great pool area!! -Kathleen, from Rosemead, United States - 8/13/2009
Customer Disservice?
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Arrived for a family reunion only to find out the hotel gave away our reservation to a convention. No warning, no chance to make other acceptable accommodations. It was handled poorly. We had reservations for 3 days and the hotel was able to get us back in on the 2nd day of our trip. All the rooms were comped which was nice. However, in the future, the hotel needs to update their customers when reservation status changes. Not a fun first night. -Mike, from Santa Barbara, United States - 6/25/2009
Family Reunion Ruined
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
We had been planning a family reunion for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary for many months. We had 4 families all traveling from afar to stay at the Red Rock. My sister arrived first and secured her room and my parents' room. An hour later, my brother and I showed up with our families. We were told that they overbooked and had to move us to a Marriott "just down the road" that was suppose to be of "equal caliber" as the Red Rock. We saw them tell other bewildered families the same story. Red Rock's management was vague about why we were being moved, but what I pieced together is a large convention was coming in and they were giving away our rooms to the convention. They even said that they didn't know of the "problem" until this week, and admitted that we had placed our reservation well in advance of the convention being booked. But, the convention came first in their eyes. They couldn't tell us why they didn't contact us prior to our arrival to let us know of this problem. -Kathryn R, from Santa Barbara, United States - 6/25/2009

This is a very nice hotel! Beautiful surroundings! We were upgraded two times (on our way to and from our trip to Tahoe.) We have NEVER seen a pool area like this EVER! It is the best pool, spa, casino, hotel combination out there. The Strip doesn't have anything on this place. If you want to shop, they will shuttle you there for free, so why stay anywhere else. The food is fantastic in many of the restaurants! The Kid's Quest is perfect for families with young kids. Everyone is so friendly (except for one poolside bartender) and the Bellmen go out of their way!!! We loved our suite and management did their part to see that we were VERY comfortable. Thank you Red Rock for pampering us! -Christina, from Chino Valley, United States - 6/21/2009

We would definitely return to Red Rock Resort for another weekend getaway. The casino feels modern and rustic at the same time and the staff was available without being annoying. The best parts of the resort are the pool, the rooms (most comfortable hotel bed ever!) and the LBS restaurant. -Heather, from Galena, United States - 6/10/2009

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Red Rock. The room was huge as was the bathroom. The pool area is very nice and the neighborhood has plenty of good restaurants. -Karine, from Nuerensdorf, Switzerland - 3/8/2009

Disappointing Stay

From the moment that we checked in with Pepe (who I kindly asked not to refer to me as "hon"), Red Rock had no record of our reservation being booked through Perfect Escapes, nor a list of the amenities that we were to receive. Pepe seemed unwilling to explore it further, so I went to the room and contacted the answering service for Perfect Escapes. Later I heard back from Dia that she had spoken to the manager and that we would hear from him soon. By the next day, I had no response so I went to the front desk. The manager was unavailable so I recontacted Dia. She eventually spoke with the manager Joe who contacted us and offered us a suite upgrade which we declined since this was our last night. He sent some wine and cheese which unfortunately set out uncovered for hours while we were out of the room. He also graciously offered a free return weekend but I remain skeptical. I appreciated the diligence of Dia to have Red Rock follow through on the promised amenities. -Kathleen L, from Encinitas, United States - 12/29/2008
Fun Night At Red Rock

We went to celebrate our 1st anniversary and had a wonderful time. We were able to do several things within the hotel and not have to leave. Highly recommend dinner at Hachi (shrimp appetizer was amazing). We also had lunch at LBS which had great burgers. Nice that it has a bowling facility and movie theaters within the resort if you want to be mellow. Room was very clean and overall outstanding. The basket of fruit was also a nice touch! -Michelle, from Rancho Santa Margarita, United States - 11/10/2008

Recently stayed at this resort and I have to say that the resort and staff went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. Anything that needed to be attended to the staff were more than happy to make sure that it was done to my satisfaction. I really look forward to staying at the Red Rock in the near future. -Terri M, from Calgary, United States - 10/17/2008
Snooze & You Lose

Perfect Escapes had listed that this hotel would provide a basket of fruit & a late check-out with the rate; however, we did not receive a welcome basket and we had to speak to the manager to get the late check-out. The room & hotel were beautiful, but make sure you receive all that they say you will receive.

Fruit/Wine Gift Basket

I was a disappointed in the fruit basket and wine selection that was offered as part of the package. The fruit was horribly beat up and not eatable and the wine tasted very bitter and horrible. -Cheryl B, from Federal Way, United States - 8/26/2008

I live here and i was impressed with all the service I received at this wonderful hotel. Loved the overall design. Staff is great. I interacted with valet twice, and 3 different staff out on the floor, and they were all willing to go out of their way to help me. One of the staff was just going to start her shift and had not punched in and went out of way her way to help me. I know customer service and the staff has been trained well. Keep up the good work. Thank you. -Kathy, from north las vegas, United States - 6/22/2008
