Almost a True Luxury Property

It would just take some small property enhancements for the hotel to be a true luxury property:
Providing wireless high speed Internet in the rooms instead of a too short DSL cable hidden behind the TV.
Upgrading the bedding sheets and pillows, currently barely passing the bar of a three stars sleeping experience.

Luxor, Not Luxor-y

We showed up early to drop off our bags. The bell-hop told us to try to check-in at the Towers registration, but the woman at the desk was not nice since we had not gone to general registration. Our rooms were not ready, so we stored 3 bags on one ticket. When we checked-in later, another woman with attitude said they couldn't deliver 3 bags to 3 rooms if they were on 1 ticket. Hmmm. I found a more service-oriented bell-hop who gladly helped. The hotel is in decent shape though I don't really dig the Egyptian theme and the slanted room ceilings. I also wish they would get rid of those awful bedspreads. And, the Ethernet cable above the TV that doesn't reach the desk should be replaced by wireless. The facility is in decent shape and has a great locale. If you are looking for value, it is a steal. Though be forewarned that aspects of the room feel as though they have not been updated since Cleopatra's time.
