Overview
Southernmost on the Beach stretches out on a secluded section of Key West's historic Old Town, away from the hustle, but close enough to the excitement when you want it.
All guestrooms offer views of the Atlantic Ocean. New guestrooms feature dark mahogany furniture, the tranquility of blue and white decor, and ocean views that suggest a private yacht. Whether you decide on a restful ocean view, an oceanfront room, or one of three custom-designed Penthouse Suites, you'll enjoy a tropical-modern motif with a nautical feel to make you feel right at home. With breathtaking views of the sea and sky, you’ll find that getting into the Key West state of mind is easier than you thought.
Even the grounds have a welcoming new look. Sip a cocktail at the breezy poolside bar, take a dip in a Junior Olympic-size pool, relax on the private pier, or enjoy the lush landscaping and winding garden paths – all overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and sunny South Beach.

Southernmost on the Beach - New Room With Distant

The property was as good as pictured! Whole facility was well-maintained and very clean. We stayed in a room in a "new" building and very much enjoyed the view of the ocean while sitting in bed from the large window and also while on the outside deck. Bed was very comfortable; bathroom was large. Personnel throughout the property were efficient, very friendly and knowledgeable. When I asked at the front desk for an additional bed sheet, it arrived within 10 minutes. Housekeeping was very good, timely and quick. Without hesitation, I would stay here again and will certainly recommend this property. -Eleanor Ubhaus , from EDISON, United States - 3/11/2010
Great Location!

Great location! Nice beach! Rooms were just OK. Not enough frills for the price. Would have liked a bath tub, rugs for the cool tile, bath robes. In addition a selection of pay per view movies would have been nice. A bit disappointed that our room was not upgraded and if I didn't ask we would not have received our champagne either. Was really looking forward to the upgrade though especially since it was our honeymoon. We plan on coming back to Key West but I think we'll try another hotel with more amenities. -Lisa Fernandez , from PENINSULA, United States - 3/10/2010

Beautiful new resort. The grounds were tropical and the room was spacious, bright and airy with a balcony and a water view. The pool and pool bar were very nice as well. the staff was very friendly and the service was very good. we rented two multi speed bikes for a couple of days. the bikes we rented were excellent but they only had two of the multi speed bikes, the others were one speed standard beach cruisers. They need to get more of the multi speed bikes. The bikes are kept outside and the seats were soaked as it rained the day before. The Southernmost Cafe on the beach next door was excellent. The service, food, and happy hour specials were terrific and the prices were very reasonable. We were extremely happy with this resort and would stay there again. The Southernmost on the Beach is a beautiful property with a great location, walking distance to where all the action is on Duval street. The value of this hotel was excellent for what we paid. I would highly recommend this hote -Kathy Mosel , from denville, United States - 2/10/2010

This was our first visit to Key West. We discovered while we were there that the Southernmost Hotel on the Beach was the best choice for hotels/resorts on the island.
It was away from all the hustle and bustle of Mallory Square, yet within easy walking distance. We will book our next trip thru Perfect Escapes at the Southernmost on the Beach. -Kenneth Dziulko , from sperry, United States - 2/9/2010

The location was outstanding! While at the hotel it was quiet or serene yet in a few footsteps you could reach a little bit of a party and with a few more steps A LOT of party. It was all within minutes of whatever mood you were in. Relaxation or wet and wild! -Sarah Stevenson , from Dunlap, United States - 1/10/2010

Very nice property - right on the water and within a block of the Southernmost point in the U.S. Pool bar staff was rude; otherwise everything was great. Upgraded on a pay for 3 get 4 nights deal from a New King Ocean View to an Ocean Front New Wing King with a huge wrap around balcony for this water front corner room. Great value!!! -Robert Polk , from McKinney, United States - 12/23/2009

The service was great and people were so friendly! The room was clean and bigger than what I was anticipating. After the 21 1/2 hour drive it took us to get there from PA; we were thankful for the hospitality we received. We booked are reservation through Perfect Escapes and had early check in and a nice bottle of champagne chilling in the room. The pool was the greatest with the night lights changing color from purple to red. I had done my homework and read many reviews on Southern Most on the Beach! I'm so happy I made the choice! Thanks for a great vacation! -Carol Baker , from Manchester, United States - 12/6/2009

Loved Southernmost on the Beach. The room was wonderful, beds comfortable, view from balcony spectacular, and bar was fun. Went for birthday weekend with friends and enjoyed every minute. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful place to stay on the quiet end of Key West. The bar at Southernmost was fun and the bartenders were great. -Amy Nickolette , from Davie, United States - 10/23/2009
