Overview
Today, this Palazzo left unfinished by Bramante in the 15th Century, has returned to life, having been converted into a hotel in a project undertaken by the architect Lorenzo Bellini who has personally attended to the St. George’s minimalist interior design. All 64 rooms are catered following the concept of minimal-chic luxury and maintaining a sense of warmth and charm thanks to soft lighting, soft cream and wood tones furnishings and resin floors.
The St. George is an unique open space architecture, a series of internal and external areas, mixing the old and the new. The minimal-chic design takes shape and is further developed throughout the hotel. The Library this is the ideal setting for a relaxing reading whilst enjoying a coffee or a homemade pastry. In the Cigar Lounge, cigar enthusiasts can enjoy handmade cigars, specially dehumidified to preserve their flavor and freshness. The Wine Bar suggests 120 of the best wines and is constantly open, 24-hours a day. In the beautiful atmosphere of an exclusive terrace the St. George will spoil your palate with an innovative array of summer tastes.
