Directions:
From Durango Airport (DRO): Upon entering Durango, turn left onto Hwy 160 West to Mancos - Cortez. Upon entering Mancos, turn right at the stop light onto Hwy 184 to Dolores for 19 miles. Turn right onto Hwy 145 and travel down the hill approx. 1 mile to Dolores. Go through Dolores and travel approximately 13 miles north, toward Rico. Turn left on CR38/West Dolores Road also known as West Fork Road, Approx. 1.5 miles before Stoner. Notice mileage sign indicating Dunton 22 Miles. Last 9 miles are unpaved. Dunton Hot Springs will be on your right hand side, follow directions at the gate. Please watch for Elk, Deer, and other wildlife on the road.
From Telluride: Start out going west on W Colorado Ave - CO 145 Spur toward N FIR ST. Continue to follow CO 145 Spur 3.4 miles. Turn Left onto CO 145, 17.4 miles. Turn Right onto CR 38, you’ll see a green sign “DUNTON” with bullet holes in, unpaved and closed seasonally. It is also called West Fork Road and West Dolores Access Road. 10 miles then Dunton Hot Springs will be on your left hand side, follow directions at the gate.
