Very Pleased With Stay

Honestly, I can say I found only minor flaws with my recent stay. First, charge for Wi-fi in the rooms is what I expected, I didn't like it, but it seems like that is the norm for most higher starred hotels. However, why was there a charge for using the computers in the business center? Second, where was the phone book? And lastly, could have used dresser drawers, there were a few drawers in the TV stand/mini fridge stand but they were too small and not enough. Great area in the lobby for meeting up with friends for drinks with a great atmosphere. Staff was clearly present and looking to make your stay wonderful.

We loved our stay at the Knickerbocker. The room was beautiful and kept very clean. The Staff was outstanding no matter what time of day it was. The location could not have been any better, like 15 steps to Michigan Ave. We would definitely recommend and would stay again ourselves.

Directions:
From O’Hare International Airport: Take interstate I-90 east into Chicago, it will merge with I-94; follow the signs for “ Chicago Loop”. Exit east on Ohio Street, 50B, and turn left onto Michigan Avenue. Travel north 8 blocks to the John Hancock Building. Delaware Place is located just past the John Hancock Building. Turn right on Delaware, and at the first stop sign turn left onto Mies Van Der Rohe. Turn left at Walton Place. The hotel’s entrance will be on the left (south side) of the street.
From Chicago Midway Airport: Take Cicero Avenue heading north towards I-55 North. Take I-55 north to 90-94 west (Wisconsin) and exit Ohio Street, 50B. Turn left on Michigan Avenue and travel north 8 blocks to Delaware Place. Turn right on Delaware, and at the first stop sign turn left onto Mies Van Der Rohe. Turn left on Walton Place. The hotel’s entrance will be on the left (south side) of the street.
