Great Beach in Key West

We made this choice for a hotel because this is the only hotel in Key West with a beach (man-made but a beach). The beach has a pier that goes right out into the ocean and when you step down into the warm waters the depth is only chest high. The pool area is beautiful and looks right over the Atlantic. The staff couldn't have been more courteous, We were there off season so we were able to negotiate the price, which we got to include entry into fitness room. The rooms were beautiful. When we returned to our room after hanging at pool bar I had left open the balcony doors and we were swarmed with flying ants, I called down to the desk and they immediately sent a bellman up and upgraded us to a more beautiful 1 bedroom suite. The proximity of the hotel to the strip is a short taxi ride so that you can be parting at a moment's notice. When you are at the hotel you feel like you are not even in the USA but in the Caribbean. All in all I would recommend this hotel.

Directions:
From Key West International Airport (EYW): As you exit the airport, make a right onto South Roosevelt Boulevard. Bear right onto Bertha Street. Turn left at Atlantic Boulevard. This will turn into Reynolds Street. The Casa Marina Resort is on the left.
From Miami International Airport (MIA): Head south from N. Le Jeune Rd / NW 42nd Avenue. Take SR-836 West to The Florida Turnpike South (FL-821 S). Continue on Florida Turnpike South until it ends on US-1. Continue traveling south on US-1 for approximately 126 miles. Bear left towards S. Roosevelt Boulevard. Turn left onto Atlantic Boulevard. Turn right onto Reynolds. Hotel will be on the left. Approximate time: 3 hours 10 minutes.
