Great Hotel and Amenities With Excellent Service

The hotel is located in Midtown and is very well set-up. The room was clean and well appointed with nice touches such as Aveda products and large LED TV screens. Room service menu was good, the food and service delivery was excellent. All staff were friendly and very helpful which made the visit more enjoyable. The gym facilities are very good. -Gary, from Singapore, Singapore, Singapore - 3/10/2010
Leisure Visit

Hotel Palomar was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. We were just looking for a getaway weekend with no stress and lots of relaxing and this hotel made that happen. Every member of the staff was very professional and helpful when needed. We enjoyed our beautiful room and loved the Aveda products left in the bathroom. We really liked the roof top bar! We went there both nights of our stay. The bartender Corey was awesome! It was just a nice place to sit and have a drink and enjoy the conversation and atmosphere. I can't wait to stay at this hotel again. I hope it will be soon! Thanks for the wonderful stay at a beautiful hotel! -Patrick Byrd , from Woodstock, United States - 3/8/2010
The Ultimate Getaway

We decided to take a chance and book a non-chain hotel and boy did the risk pay off. From check-in to check-out the entire staff was so helpful and friendly(there was one bellhop that was a little rude but he was the only unfriendly staff that we encountered). The suite was perfect and the bathroom (which had a jetted over-sized tub) was magnificent! It is a great location, only a few minutes from downtown and about 5 minutes from Lenox Square. I would definitely recommend this hotel to couples looking for a getaway and traveling with friends. Our friends stayed here and had a double room which was so neat and modern. We had a blast here and the Jay Z concert was awesome! The hotel help made the trip to ATL the ultimate weekend getaway. -T'sha, from Waycross, United States - 3/4/2010
Classy, Cool, Pet Friendly Hotel in the Heart of M

We stayed at the Palomar for Valentine's Weekend and truly enjoyed our stay. This hotel definitely caters to pet owners and their pets. They provided our dog with food dishes, beds, a personalized dog tag, and his name on the Pet VIP list at the front door of the hotel! The hotel and the rooms are modern and yet laid back at the same time. The Alto Rex rooftop lounge is not to be missed either...great scenic spot for drinks after or before dinner. The complimentary wine reception in the lobby was relaxed and made for great people watching too. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and helpful in all respects. We will stay here again without a doubt! -Samuel Ivey , from Atlanta, United States - 2/19/2010
Probably the Best Hotel in Atlanta for Its Price
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
I stayed here with my fiance for Valentine's Day/my birthday weekend. The service was great and the valet parking (literally your only option unless you want to try your luck in an Atlanta parking lot over night or come by MARTA) was easy and had a one time fee of $30, so you could come and go as much as you want. The room was not huge, but the furnishings and layout of the room made it feel larger and more open than the average hotel. Lobby, furnishings, etc., were all high-end and comfortable. Probably more expensive than I'd normally spend on a hotel, but I wanted something nice for our weekend away and it was just about as affordable (through a third-party website) as anything 5-star in Atlanta. Overall a very good stay. -Jeff Weaver , from Greenville, United States - 2/19/2010

Hotel was very nicely accommodating...staff were very friendly and professional. Rooms are spacious and clean. Combine all this with a complementary cocktail in lobby, my rate also included continental breakfast, this made for a very nice stay! -Marlo, from Burlington, United States - 1/25/2010

Treated Badly

They over-booked the hotel and we've never been to Atlanta before and we booked this hotel 3 months in advance. Upon arrival was told they had no more rooms and we were being shipped 20 min out of downtown to the Sheraton hotel. They paid for our night at the Sheraton but we were never informed of this until we got there. They had our phone number they could have called us to tell us, not at 8pm upon arrival and their attitude was that they didn't care! Now that I know a little about ATL I will NEVER stay there again! I'm going to the Sheraton where I was treated with respect and they truly cared about our experience in ATL! -Shannon Thomas , from Buffalo, United States - 9/15/2009
