Overview
The Cooper Square Hotel in located on Manhattan's Bowery in the heart of downtown New York - a vibrant neighborhood filled with boutiques, restaurants and nightlife, with easy access to both midtown and downtown Manhattan.
The 21-story new construction was designed by Carlos Zapata Studio, with interiors by famed Milan designer Antonio Citterio.Wall to wall windows offer incredible light and panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline. Bathrooms are tiled with Italian glass mosaic and custom accessories to match. Rooms are outfitted with Sony LCD televisions i-Pod docking stations and complimentary wireless Internet.
Hotel guests will be able to enjoy an intimate library and bar with a custom collection of books by Housing Works. Complimentary breakfast will be served daily in the library.
The 145-room hotel is cosmopolitan and contemporary yet grounded in tradition and locale. The Cooper Square Hotel redefines modern luxury with intrepid design, well-appointed amenities and a keen attention to comfort and service.

The hotel is brand new - actually, some parts are still under construction (the restaurant is to be opened in a month or so), very stylish, modern but warm. Very nice, young and energetic staff. And I loved the location, in the heart of Village but outside the most touristy area.
