Excellent, But...

The hotel was excellent. The overall design was very interesting and the Junior Suite room that I got was unbelievable. Two floors with a wall of glass facing the city from the top floor of the hotel.
Only problem was that I got there early and dropped my bag with the doorman. I was told that when my room was ready, the bag would be there. When I got to my room, no bag. I called downstairs and they said they'd send it right up. A few minutes later they called back. They can't find the bag. Eventually they find it and bring it up. I unpacked and realized that the medication I had packed in the outside pocket was missing. I went down to the front desk and they immediately denied that anyone at the hotel could have taken it. They made some effort to help me call the airport to see if it showed up there. Of course it hadn't. I'm quite sure someone at the hotel stole it, but whatever. I just think they could have handled it much better.

Very nice hotel with nice staff. The staff was very helpful and friendly and they provided us with some very good suggestions and information at our request. As with all Sofitels, the beds were very comfortable. The spa was very nice and the workout area adequate. Our room was nice but the view was lacking. Some rooms are situated strangely in the hotel so take particular care when examining the room they give you. They seem to nickel and dime you a bit for internet service, the business area etc. Would much rather have it included in the rate. The parking was reasonably priced at 6 Euros per day for garage service. Overall a nice hotel with very helpful staff.

Leisure facilities at the hotel were fantastic, the pool in particular is amazing. The rooms however were fairly small and the internet charges were not explained correctly, costing us an unexpected high fee for internet usage during our stay. Also, deluxe King beds should be noted as actually being "two single beds pushed together", which we were told was standard for European hotels. Hotel service otherwise was very good and foyer/decor was immaculate and impressive.
