Overview
A beaux-arts structure at Charles and Baltimore Streets is one of Kimpton's most exciting historic reconstruction projects. A new Hotel Monaco will emerge from this turn-of-the-century site, once the headquarters of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. The developer of the $60 million project, Philadelphia-based ARCWheeler, expects to make this new 208-room hotel one of the mainstays of an area that is emerging as a hub of boutique and small hotels. The new Hotel Monaco will occupy the top seven floors, and will include a day spa, destination restaurant, and 15,000 square feet of meeting space.
