I love the eclectic ambiance of this hotel. The service, cleanliness, and comfort are comparable to the best five star hotels that I have enjoyed in the past. Visiting my daughter at Harvard has become an experience instead of a responsibility. -Maritza Perez , from New Canaan, United States - 10/7/2009

This is a great selection in the Cambridge area, yet still conveniently located for downtown Boston. Excellent hotel and services and pet friendly too! Restaurant had very good food and stays open late. Rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and as clean as could be. I would definitely stay here again and will look at other Kimpton properties in other locations as well. -Michele, from Fairfield, United States - 5/21/2009

My Stay At Hotel Marlowe
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
We arrived on Saturday at 3:00 and we were pleasantly surprised at what the lobby looked like. The front desk was very courteous. The room was a little small with two double beds, there was no view just concrete parking lot. The breakfast was so expensive, I got hot tea, cheese & onion omelet and four small red potatoes that were considered homefries, toast that I had to butter myself and my friend got same thing but she added coke and bacon to her plate. The cost $35.00 which included the tip, yes they added the tip, since when do they do that? There was only two people eating, the bill wasn't over a hundred dollars. I guess that's my only complaint about the place other then that it was centrally located and very clean. The toilet didn't flush all the way down either and we tried several times. -Tracey Owers, from Hamden, United States - 2/26/2009

A Bit Disappointing
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
I was disappointed that our T.V. was not working. We were looking forward to watching a movie, struggled to see what was wrong and called the desk. They were polite and said nothing could be done until morning. No one called us back to come in the morning. This should all be documented with the company. -Mary Hurley , from fitchburg, United States - 8/28/2008

Hotel and staff were excellent. Staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was unique and very comfortable. We enjoyed the wine tasting next to the fireplace. Also the zebra and cheetah print robes were a fun and comfortable extra. They did everything they could to make our stay special. Would definitely stay there again. -Jody Zarka , from Southington , United States - 6/3/2008

I had a nice room on the top floor of the hotel. It was comfortable until 2 AM when the noise in the hallway woke me up - and kept me awake for an hour. -Martha Lawrence , from Auburn, United States - 4/11/2008
