On a 21-acre site in Menlo Park, Stanford University and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts are developing a 120-room luxury hotel. Rosewood Sand Hill will be located just one mile west of the Stanford campus, adjacent to some of the nation's foremost venture capital firms and businesses. Intended to meld with the surrounding landscape, the hotel’s low-rise design is inspired by local architectural traditions and expressive of the transparency between the indoors and outdoors. Large expanses of glass and terraces will be complemented by inviting gardens and views of nearby mountains.
Crafted from natural elements such as wood and stone and tiered on a hillside, the urban oasis will include five villa residences, office space, a pool, fitness center, Sense, A Rosewood Spa, ballroom and five meeting rooms with outdoor function space. A signature restaurant, lobby lounge and bar will each spill into the outdoor space and offer stunning mountain views.
