Bliss on the Water

Besides a lovely location right on the water, the Boston Harbor Hotel is notable for its service--from the concierge to the bell hops to room service, everyone was ultra professional and welcoming and efficient. The junior suite was spacious and luxurious, and the spa, pool and fitness center are top-notch. I'll definitely visit again. Very romantic. -Paula Derrow , from New York, United States - 1/8/2010
Perfect Weekend Getaway With An Ocean View

I LOVE this hotel. I booked my trip through Perfect Escapes and I was so pleased. I received a complimentary upgrade and early and late check - All I can say it it was pure heaven. I called the hotel prior to checking in to make sure everything was in order and they told me that you had called to verify my reservation. I had a view of the tall ships as they sailed around Boston Harbor: thanks again Perfect Escapes for the excellent treatment. -Toni Swanson , from Alexandria, United States - 7/20/2009
The Problems
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
I went there to take my wife dancing with their orchestra. I got there and they had canceled the dancing I assume due to weather, and don't understand why they couldn't simply play inside the hotel rather than outside. Also, at 6:30 in the morning there were two boys in the adjacent room who were slamming the doors, running up and down the hallway, yelling, and their parents didn't seem to mind. I called the front desk, but the noise continued and so our romantic getaway was somewhat disappointing. The hotel did take 30% off the bill, so that was nice. -Andre Beauboeuf , from center sandwich, United States - 7/29/2008
Nice Place, but Cheap Doors Need to Be Replaced
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Beautiful hotel with lots of charm, but the slamming doors that wake you up/keep you up from 6am-9am need to be fixed. It was really annoying to be woken up every morning by the sound of slamming doors (due to their cheapness/hollow core?) every 5-10 mins. It was really loud; unusually loud.
Food was excellent.
Service was outstanding. -Christopher, from Chicago, United States - 7/11/2008
