Overview
Sunset Key Guest Cottages, A Westin Resort is located on gorgeous Sunset Key, a secluded 27-acre Florida island. Comprising seven acres of the island, the cottages are designed for the sophisticated traveler who demands the very best. The surrounding acreage is dedicated to the most exclusive residential community in Key West, Florida.
The superbly appointed cottages are nestled amidst swaying palm trees alongside a white, sandy Florida beach. Our tropical freeform garden pool with whirlpools offers another opportunity for rejuvenation. Tennis enthusiasts can step up their game on our two available courts.

Sunset Key Guest Cottages - Thanksgiving 2008

This hotel was just lovely, and the service above average to excellent. The setting is unique for the price range. Not cheap, but something like this would cost significantly more in other locations. Note that the cottages really are stand-alone, the launches to the mainland run absolutely on time every 30 minutes, and it is a safer and more tranquil environment to hang-out in w/children as compared to mainland Key West (which remains a stone's throw away). The weather was a bit chillier than we would have liked (low 70's but with a stiff breeze), and at the beginning of the week the island was incredibly windy. Once this died down later in the week, it was extraordinarily beautiful. I'd like to go back in the spring when it is a bit warmer.

Take US 1 to Key West. Turn right onto Business US 1. Continue approx. 3.5 miles, then turn right onto Whitehead Street. Turn left into the Westin Key West entrance.

Take US 1 to Key West. Turn right onto Business US 1. Continue approx. 3.5 miles. Turn right onto Whitehead Street. Turn left onto Front Street and take to Westin entrance.

Taxi – approx. $15.00
Other Transportation – Westing provides a boat that travels back and
forth from Sunset Key Island about every 30 minutes.
