ABH (Above Beverly Hills), a private lounge reserved for members and hotel guests, offers signature cocktails, cuisine selections from BondSt and breathtaking 360 degree views of Beverly Hills. Guest can also unwind in the exclusive second floor bar, which houses a private library alcove and custom cocktails list. The subdued lounge is the perfect locale for an early cocktail or late night rendezvous.
A small private meeting room (The Library) is available during the day. It is conveniently located on our Bond St Lounge level and offers a boardroom-style table seating 10 people and has an interconnecting private lounge room.

- Via freeways:
Exit the airport onto W Century Blvd. Take I-405 N towards Santa Monica . Take Exit 55A / Santa Monica Blvd and drive 2.5m to Wilshire Blvd; turn right. The hotel is located at 9360 Wilshire Blvd on the right/ side of the street.
- Via surface streets:
Exit the airport onto W Century Blvd. Turn left onto Aviation Blvd. which becomes Florence Ave. Turn left onto La Cienega Blvd, and left onto Wilshire Blvd. The hotel is located at 9360 Wilshire Blvd on the left side of the street.
Transportation:

The staff was very friendly and efficient. The hotel was very up-scale, but the rope hanging out our window, and location on the busy street detracted from the ambiance of a get-away destination. We liked the closeness to the Spago dinner we were attending that evening, and closeness to Rodeo Drive.

Although the hotel is under construction, it's a great deal for the price. It was like living a scene from "Devil Wears Prada" Totally hip and way cool. Everyone on staff was just the best.

Value While Renovating

The Thompson Beverly Hills will probably be a cool and stylish hotel when it is complete. In the meantime, you can stay in a cool room in a great location for a VERY low price. The lobby of the hotel is under construction. The services are bare bones. The room we stayed in was hip and mod. The best thing was the sferra bros linens -- lovely! The bathroom was also beautiful -- but in that very designed way. If you have big hands, you might not be able to get them between the faucet and the sculptural marble sink! Underneath that beautiful sink there was no vanity, so you see this bizarre tape covering the pipes. There is scaffolding covering the entire building. Didn't really bother us as we were there on Thanksgiving so there was no construction, but be aware if you are going to stay there on a work day. it will be interesting to assess the price/value relationship when the renovation is through. For now, the Perfect Escapes rate makes this a great bargain option.
