The hotel's name changes every now and then, but the bricks stay the same. And they are nice. Especially the rooms with the balconies. Lobby and Bar are a bit dark and unfriendly without daylight. Cool are the amenities at the beach. Overall I like to stay there. -Bernhard, from Greifensee, Switzerland - 5/18/2009
Gorgeous Rooms

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the De Soleil hotel in South Beach. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We did have an issue one evening as they were supposed to make up the sofa bed and never came to do it. So our roommate had to sleep without sheets which was very unpleasant. However, the remainder of our stay was without a hitch. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and the beds are heavenly! The restaurant was delicious and Oprah's favorite sandwich definitely lived up to its reputation! I would highly recommend this hotel. -Elizabeth, from Camillus, United States - 3/26/2009
Better Than the Rest

Sometimes it's just worth spending a little more... I would definitely recommend the rooftop suites, the rooms are high tech, nicely appointed but actually not huge. Nice mini-bar. -Mark Deschenes , from san antonio, United States - 2/23/2009
Great Hotel

The hotel is beautiful and clean. When asking for the free upgrade I was told that all of the rooms had not been cleaned and that it was not available. I checked in at 10:30pm. I really didn't buy that. I was then given a handicap room. The shower was equipped for a wheelchair. Every time I showered a small lake accumulated in my bathroom. I needed extra towels and bath rugs on a daily basis. They offered to then move me after the 2nd day because I'm sure they were sick of having to constantly remove heavily soaked towels and bath rugs on a daily basis. I did not move they should've thought of that when they gave me that room. I stayed at this hotel in 2007 when it was the Vincci. The staff are nice when you're complaining but I'm a little disappointed that they didn't want to get it right the first time. I will stay there again in 2009 because the location is perfect and the rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. -Rose Ann, from Harrisburg , United States - 11/25/2008

Surprisingly Great Stay
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
I was surprisingly impressed by the service, location, and our overall stay. The room was cleaned twice daily and I was greeted by name from the staff at the front desk upon check in. I am still trying to figure out how she knew my name without me saying a word. I would have rated this hotel a 5 but there were a couple of things that I disliked. One being that the only parking available is either on the street or valet parking at $35. Thought I paid enough with the hotel cost! I followed the advise from a previous review and parked on the street. Thanks. I didn't get a ticket either. Secondly, the view was horrible (Spa Suite). My balcony overlooked the air conditioning units from the apartments next door. Not a pretty sight for the price I paid. Nonetheless, I would stay here again. The shower was awesome and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, shopping and night life. -Althia, from Livermore, United States - 10/14/2008

The hotel was even better than in the photos. Loved the beautiful bathroom amenities. The built-in bar area was great too. Super location for beach, restaurants, and shopping. The staff was gracious and helpful. Definitely would return for another stay. -Carol Sperling, from Bonita Springs, United States - 5/5/2008
Fun Roof Terrace
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
The accommodations are fabulous particularly the rooms and the terrace. The staff were good but the Bose systems and how it interacts with the TV are hard to understand and the lack of a written guide in the room made it annoyingly complicated. A small nit perhaps. The food at Table 8 was very good. The view is worth paying for on the seaview. -Cate Rioles , from jamaica Plain, United States - 5/5/2008
Best Room I Have Ever Stayed in
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
We stayed in a penthouse suite. The hotel was probably only 50% occupied at the time. Our suite was probably one of the best with a view of the pool and ocean. The ocean was probably 300 yards away. The hotel exceeded my expectations, especially after reading many negative internet reviews. The staff were friendly, prompt, and helpful. Everything including the cool motorized awning and hot tub were functional. The rooftop patio was huge and relatively private. Nude sunbathing can be done. The deck has a sun bed that would allow 2 people to sleep under the stars if they wished. It also had 2 large comfortable floor sun mattresses. In addition, the deck had a wetbar, minifridge, and nice table with 4 chairs. The hotel room, although not overly spacious, had stylish features that included 2 plasma TVs, cool lighting with dimmers, fridge, espresso machine, separate marble vanities, and a luxurious marble shower with 6 shower heads. -Jeffrey, from ST. Horrible Hotel
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Poor customer service and false advertisement. On the hotel website it states checkout is at 4 and check out is really at 11. Plus I spoke with someone directly by phone about hosting a bachelor party for a couple of hours. They said it would not be a problem. Only had to sign a waiver. When I showed up, they wanted to charge me $50 a person and $30 a bottle of liquor that I would bring. And they told me I had to upgrade. I had them return my money and I left. These people run a bad organization and out to rip people off. At the very least there is poor communication within the staff. and they treat customers like a number rather than a guest. shame on these people. BEWARE! For the same price try Loews. Much nicer and less street noise. Only a few blocks up. -Jovan Rodriguez , from Los Angeles, United States - 3/24/2008

My Hotel Review/Experience @ Vincci

The hotel was extremely clean & great housekeeping. The staff was very friendly & attentive. Great customer service. The room layout & presentation & furniture was fantastic. It had all of the comforts of the guest covered & the room layout was very welcoming, warm, convenient & great Feng Shui. The bed was very comfortable & sheets & towels were new & spotless. The front desk service was attentive & prompt. The location was great & close to all happening spots & the beach. The location was fantastic. The hotel was comparable to the standards of Ritz hotels. -Poudeh Fouz , from Oak Park, United States - 10/30/2007
