Overview
Once a grand shooting lodge, built for the first Earl of Lovelace in 1887, the hotel enjoys one of the most impressive coastal positions in the Scottish Highlands. The hotel is set amidst 58 acres of private mature trees and parkland at the foot of Ben Damph on the shores of Upper Loch Torridon. The hotel was bought by David & Geraldine Gregory in 1992 and since then has been family run with the utmost care and attention to detail. The hotel has been lovingly restored to its original splendour with the addition of luxurious en-suite bedrooms and sumptuous public rooms. A continued programme of re-investment is maintained to ensure that the hotel remains one of the top ten hotels in Scotland.
In 2002 David and Geraldine retired after 25 years in the hospitality industry and have decided to hand over the reins of the hotel but may still be found on the estate. After managing the property for a number of years Daniel and Rohaise have bought into the business and are building on the successes of the past whilst injecting a new and modern focus.

After a hard days walking, enjoy an evening of culinary excellence in our 2 AA rosette restaurant. We offer fine dining with professional but more importantly friendly and courteous service. Chef uses the finest local and international produce, traceable to reputable and highly regarded professional suppliers. None of our dishes involve the use of genetically modified foods and wherever possible free-range and organic ingredients are used.

Directions:
Only hotel on A-896 West of Inverness. Do not turn off to Torridon Village, and hotel is 1.5 miles past this turn off. Please allow 1.5hr for the drive to the hotel from Inverness.
Recommended travel is hire car. Kinlochewe 10 miles, Ullapool 50 miles, Lochcarron 20 miles, Achnasheen 20 miles, Inverness 65 miles, Fort William 70 miles, Glasgow / Edin. 200 miles.
