A magnificent old historic property. The room "Prince Rupert", although showing age, was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the meals were superb.

FOLLOW SIGNS TO M5. TRAVEL WEST AND LEAVE AT EXIT 16. TURN LEFT AT ROUNDABOUT AND FOLLOW A38 FOR APPROXIMATLEY 6 MILES. TURN LEFT AT FIRST THORNBURY SIGNPOST AND FOLLOW DOWNHILL THROUGH HIGH STREET. BEAR LEFT BY MONUMENTAL WATER PUMP. AT BOTTOM OF ROAD THE ENTRANCE GATES OF THE CASTLE ARE ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE PARISH CHURCH BY RAIL.
