The Sanctuary offers 255 spacious rooms and suites, including the 3,000 square foot Presidential Suite. Our king rooms are among the largest on the east coast with the smallest measuring 520 square feet. All hotel rooms are uniquely designed to include such exquisite amenities as a handcrafted desk and armoire, an elegantly appointed sofa and chair, and custom made beds.

A Vacation to Remember

I booked this as a 30th wedding anniversary trip for my wife and I. I had never stayed here or for that matter heard of the place until I found it while searching online. It seemed very nice and so I booked it. You never know when you do an online booking if what your hoping for is what you'll get. In this case it was everything that I hoped for and more! The Sanctuary is a beautiful resort and everything was done to perfection. The room was beautiful, the staff was exceptional, the dining experiences on site were excellent and in all I doubt that I could have chosen a better location for this special occasion. I highly recommend it, and look forward to the opportunity to return.

We recently stayed at the Sanctuary at Kiawah Island and now have a new all time favorite hotel! What an amazing resort! First class all the way! The service was impeccable, food was flawless and the surroundings were gorgeous! We were treated like royalty!
