Overview
Regarded as one of the greatest getaways in Greece, the Danai Beach Resort & Villas was created to offer secluded luxury and attentive service in a setting where deep waters meet azure skies and white sandy beaches stretch endlessly on this spectacular pine coast of the Aegean Sea.
The elegant villas with deluxe rooms and suites feature cool and spacious accommodations with a variety of amenities for today's guests' comfort and convenience. In this elegant retreat, guests will enjoy spectacular views of the crystal clear blue waters, while being completely surrounded by nature and its beauty.
Aside from the daily recreation on the premises, a worthwhile historical visit would be taking one of our fine excursions to the nearby archaeological site of King Philip the Great, the father of Alexander the Great, or the unique Monk republic on Holy Mount Athos. In addition, the Kostakis Collection of Paintings by world known artists, from the expressionist era and further, can be worshiped at the Museum.
Breakfast and light meals with an emphasis on Macedonian cuisine are served in the "Pavillon" restaurant, while gourmet Mediterranean food can be relished in the open air seafront restaurant "The Squirrel". Delicious barbecued seafood and great steaks can be savored at the "Seahorse Grill" Restaurant.

The Best Resort in Greece

My husband and I stayed at Danai for our Honeymoon with a private pool overlooking the ocean. The staff is friendly and the resort is beautiful beyond words. Dinner at The Squirrel was among our top culinary experiences ever and the sommelier and servers were helpful yet provided us with a perfect amount of privacy. The room service menu provided wonderful food to enjoy in the comfort of our room. The staff even ensured that I had hot water, honey and lemon each night to help me get over my cold. We highly recommend a trip to Mt Athos and the monasteries. The Spa was relaxing and the service impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great time. We enjoyed olive oil tasting, a lazy afternoon in the beach front bar, sunbathed next to our private pool and cuddled up together in the cabana on the beach. Although we stayed in the Blue Palace Resort in Crete and the Hotel Grande Bretagne in Athens, Danai was our favorite place in all of Greece.
