The reputation for this hotel chain is not representative of this property. The lighting in the bathroom is unacceptable, we were told to let the lights stay on for awhile and they would get brighter. There is only one restaurant to dine in, in all honesty, it was very good, but would have liked more choices. There was no information offering hotel amenities or what was going on in and around the area, something that would have been useful to a tourist unfamiliar with the area. The best asset for this hotel is its employees, they were friendly, professional, and very helpful, especially Melba. Would I stay there again, probably not, would I recommend it to friends, no. Huge thanks to the staff for making this trip acceptable!

Unmatched Quality

My family came to Atlanta to celebrate my son's college graduation. We were greeted with several staff members awaiting opportunities to serve us. The lobby was opulent. Our rooms were beautifully decorated and everything we needed was there,the marvelous fragrance that was in the air was so inviting. We were so busy during our weekend there, that I was surprised my short time of rest was so invigorating, the beds were perfection! I will come back to Atlanta and the Downtown Ritz Carlton again, this time I will spend more time at the hotel. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly. Truly an experience worth repeating!

Perfect Weekend Escape

My husband and I had a wonderful experience and would definitely go back. The room was gorgeous and the staff was so helpful, attentive and friendly. From the moment we arrived and received our glass of champagne at the check-in desk to the box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts that were delivered with our welcome letter- this hotel knows how to do it right. The restaurant was very good we had lunch there and then a fabulous breakfast buffet the following morning. We still don't know how all the staff knew our name, but everywhere we went in the hotel the staff called us by our name! This experience was tremendous and we would recommend anyone coming to the city of Atlanta to please try and stay at the Ritz-Carlton.

My wife and I went to Atlanta for a concert and stayed at the Ritz Carlton. Overall, the experience was wonderful. Courteous people, great service, wonderful food, beautiful rooms. When we arrived, we were greeted by several nice staff and offered some bottled water. Nice touch. The room was clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. One of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in, complete with wonderful fluffy pillows. The Atlanta Grill was wonderful, great food. The steak I had was great. Also, the breads that they offer were great. Overall, great experience.

After I arrived at the hotel the disaster started. I had to move in three different rooms. The first room I found dirty sheets on the bed and dirty rugs on the bathroom floor. The second room was old and very tiny with an odor. The third room the cabinet in the bathroom fell off almost hitting my foot. By this time I was tired of moving and exhausted from a long trip coming from Florida. I made contact with the Assistant Manager who has not returned any of my phone calls. This was a bad experience. I paid extra money for a hotel hoping that I will get luxury and excellent accommodations which I did not receive. I glad you gave me the opportunity to give my input.

My spouse and I have stayed at many 4 and 5 star hotels. I can honestly say that after my few experiences at the Ritz Carlton, I will not stay anywhere else if there is a Ritz Carlton in the vicinity. The staff at the Ritz made us feel very welcome and not just a number. We felt as though we were the only guests there.
