3 Days Is Enough
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
We spent 4 days at Mall of Emirates in January 2008. In general the hotel is nice. The rooms, if you get the right one, are good. Be careful not to be put in a corner room- The first one we moved into had not been cleaned, overlooked an aircon. duct and was half the size of the normal rooms. The rate which we got through Perfect Escapes was the best possible available. We believe the hotel felt that we should accept a lessor room- Not for 400 Euros a night.
The reception area is chaos at all hours. It resembles a kindergarten more than a reception area. Be very careful with young children exiting the hotel. When they run out the front door it's like walking onto a freeway. We saw one child saved by the doorman.Food in the hotel is average and over priced. The mall is the highlight. But after 3 days, you just want out. The skiing is great fun. All hotel guests get a discount of 15% except on private lessons. The 1897 bar on the 2nd floor is a haven away from it all.
