Overview
Conveniently located in the historic district of Annapolis exclusive neighborhood. 217 spacious guestrooms and suites furnished with 18th century reproductions, imported silks and hair dryer, mini bar refrigerator, remote control, cable TV, SpectraVision movies, 2 line telephones, voice mail, dataport and a generous supply of bath amenities and terry cloth robes. A fitness room is available to guests on a complimentary basis.

Loews Problems

While our overall stay at the Loews Annapolis Hotel was good, there were two problems. One, there seemed to be a hole in the wall between our room and our neighbors' as we heard every sound from their side quite clearly. At check-out, the desk clerk said she would make a note of it. Two, there was an additional $21/day parking fee that was not mentioned at check-in. What made it worse was that there was a sign out front advertising "Public Parking $10/day". So, as a customer, we got to pay twice as much as someone off the street. I wrote the Loews chain about these problems but have heard nothing back from them as yet.

Very friendly staff, great location close to the 'action' but quiet. Great base for exploring historic Annapolis. 10+ for shower, bathroom, robes, 9+ for bed. Be warned that they do seem to have a big conference business so you might find yourself among a sea of name-tags.

I was awakened by someone attempting to enter my room at 7am. I went to the door and it was engineering, assuming the room was unoccupied.
The wall around the toilet had urine stains.

Loews Annapolis is a grand hotel that is appealing as soon as you enter the lobby. The rooms are spacious, clean with a high degree of splendor. The bar is a happening place. The cookie treats at the elevators were delicious.
