Stayed here on honeymoon.
Fabulous character, in touch with nature, excellent customer service & exquisite food & spa.
Very serene, just a shame one cannot swim at the private beach! -Rob, from London, England - 5/10/2009

A TRUE Five-Star hotel with one of the best services I've ever seen.
If you want to go to the beaches you should rent a car, though. -Frank Wohlgemuth, from Luxembourg, Luxembourg - 1/2/2009
Incredible Location!!!

Zimbali manages to transport you to a different world even though it's only 15 minutes away from the city. It definitely earns its tag-line of Forest Resort. As a result of careful planning and design, one gets the impression one is miles away from civilization from the moment you arrive. Even though we only stayed for one night (our anniversary), the experience made us feel like we had been there for a week, which is what I use to judge whether a holiday meets expectations or not. Service is friendly but slightly stiff. If you make peace with this, you'll be fine. We stayed in the Fairmont room, which was very well fitted out. The bathroom was very classy and the views from the balcony were quite picturesque. Dining was uneven. Although breakfast was excellent, supper was a disappointment - my dish was very complicated and quite underwhelming while my wife's salmon was too salty. -Mergandran Velayudan , from Umhlanga Rocks, South Africa - 12/22/2008
