Overview
A house with a warm welcome, fashioned by twenty years of good living. Each piece of furniture, each bibelot, each picture which decorates it has its own story to tell, tales of distant travels and chance encounters. And today, our guests all leave something of themselves behind them. Guest-rooms and suites all face due south. They open on to the garden and the swimming pool. Those upstairs offer a panoramic view of the grounds and the Atlas mountains. Period furniture, orientalist paintings and antique carpets go together to create a warm and exotic ambience. Traditional hammam or Finnish sauna, lounge where the distant music of lute or harp floats in the background, musk and incense, massages everything to make your stay a soothing and relaxing experience. The bathrooms are truly out of the ordinary, with 30's-style fittings, their decor a tasteful blend of zellij, marble and tadellakt. The house stands in 5-acre grounds in the very heart of the Palmeraie. Palm trees, century-old olive trees, giant carbos, orange trees, year-round lemon trees, citron and Seville orange trees, bay-trees, jasmine, hibiscus, roses and bougainvillea, Andalusian pond with water-lilies, goldfish and frogs. Summerhouse and fountains make this garden a haven of peace, a corner of paradise where ringdoves and a multitude of other birds have taken up residence. As night falls, the magic of lights, the enchantment of flickering candles, the scent of orange blossom, of "galant de nuit" and of jasmine. The star-strewn sky and the cool of luxuriant greenery, the mildness of the climate, invite you to a candle-lit dinner beside the swimming-pool, to enjoy traditional Moroccan gastronomy prepared by our expert cooks.
