Overview
Situated on the American Riviera, this beautiful historic property, with its red roof tiles, ivory adobe and graceful archways, provides visitors a luxurious and intimate retreat. Lit by romantic gas lamps, brick walkways guide visitors through 20 acres of lush manicured tropical gardens surrounding the 207 guest rooms, suites and cottages. The Spa, designed by noted architect Peter Marino overlooks Butterfly Beach and features 11 treatment rooms, including four deluxe day suites with fireplaces and private ocean view terraces. Guests of Four Seasons Resort Santa Barbara enjoy complimentary access to an exclusive private beach club, Coral Casino Beach & Cabana Club located adjacent to the resort. Amenities include a fashionable new second-story restaurant, Tydes, an entirely renovated Olympic-sized pool and deck area, bordered by 31 private cabanas, and a whirlpool, children’s wading pool and rooftop sun deck. The Resort is easily accessible by air or road from anywhere within North America. Major carriers fly into the Santa Barbara Municipal Airport, only 20 minutes from the Resort. Private jet service is available through Santa Barbara Aviation. All major car rental firms operate at the airport (guests can make rental arrangements through the Concierge); taxis and limousine service are also available. Cancellations for a hotel room reservation must be received by 6:00 pm 3 days (14 days for certain dates) prior to the expected day of arrival, and may differ by arrival date and room type. If cancellation of a guaranteed reservation is not received by the required date, the Hotel will charge for one night's accommodation.
