Food, Service

The nice restaurant on site was totally overrated. The spa services are over priced relative to quality received. $165 for a facial, plus tip is way too much, especially when the quality was very average at best. Same with massage. Tennis courts unmaintained and unlit, there were no tennis balls and $10 to rent a racket that was worth $20. Overall service was minimal and I felt the common urge to tip when there is always a 10% tip included, and they say it is for the cooks and back of the house, so you feel you should leave at least 15% if not 20%, which is potentially 30 percent every time you turn around. Pool was nice, people were nice. Overall, needs more attention to detail and service.

Everything was excellent. The staff was very friendly, the room nice and comfortable, and the food great. The pool was magnificent.

The Best Vacation Ever

I spent my honeymoon there and had a perfect time. The people were beyond helpful always pleasant and would highly recommend this hotel to many. My wife and I are already planning on coming back for our anniversary. The food and views were worth any amount that you could offer. Total first class treatment from beginning ‘till end. I just can't say enough kind words about this experience. Forget Brazil or Turks and Caicos or Hawaii or any so called perfect locations, the Marriott in Los Suenos, Costa Rica was a dream come true. From Roland in the La Vesta Restuarant to Constantino who drove us anywhere we wanted with total comfort and ease, we miss you all.
