Amazing Time!

My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon in Koh Lanta. We had a wonderful time and the stay at this resort made it all the more fantastic. The design of the place is absolutely stunning, with a blend of Thai and modern architecture and decoration. We absolutely loved watching the beautiful sunsets over the infinity pool as well as enjoyed the warmth of the staff. The services offered at the spa are a heavenly experience...During our stay we visited multiple other resorts and none of them equate the Langham in beauty and value. We would go back in a heart beat and therefore highly recommend it for honeymooners or for families!! Also the location is perfect ,as it is half way through the island. We rented a moped and went to different beaches every day, and all the nice beaches were within reach (not to mention that the resort itself is on fairly nice beach)!

Koh Lanta is a beautiful place. Reminds me of Samui 10 years ago and Phuket 20 years ago; Island charm without the over development. Langham Place is the perfect way to enjoy the islands natural beauty in its serene beach-front location nestled against a small hill making for a private resort.
The rooms with an infinity edge pool make a great romantic way to enjoy the sunset or just cool off.
Attentive staff and good food complete the picture. I was taken aback at some of the comments on other reviews berating staff for inefficiency. It is the Thai custom to be accommodating and to do everything with a smile.

Paradise

I stayed in one of the pool villas and thought I'd found paradise. Beautiful 2 building Thai style Villas with sleeping/bathroom in one building and living room with large plasma TV and fridge in the other. There is a covered entrance that joins the 2 buildings. A beautiful private infinity pool looked over the sea. Really spectacular. The rooms were immaculate and the bathroom was huge with separate shower.
The staff was attentive and because a lot of the rooms are on a hill they have golf carts that can be summoned to drive you to the rooms. Restaurants were very good with a large vegetarian selection for those that don't eat meat, they have some beautiful bars that unfortunately the guests didn't seem to take advantage of. The main pool area is very nice, again infinity edged. The grounds were beautiful. All in all a wonderful stay and as I said you will think you are in Paradise.
