Overview
Pimalai Resort & Spa is built on a splendid 100 acres of hilly land of lush tropical forest with direct access to a 900 meters pristine sandy beach. A great emphasis has been placed by the architects to preserve the environment when designing the low rise southern style buildings and this results today in a resort complementing the setting rather than competing with it.
The resort occupies 100 acres of tropical vegetation with direct access to 900 meters stretch of pristine sandy beach and offers 121 accommodation - rooms, suites, beach villas and pool villas - all very elegantly appointed.
Baan Pimalai, the main restaurant offers an outdoor dining area with sweeping views of the resort's infinity-edge swimming pool, the landscaped gardens and the bay.

An excellent location, very beautiful beach and beautiful gardens. A good selection of restaurants but a bit pricey. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean rooms and fully stocked with toiletries. Transfers were a bit expensive even on the same island. The beach villas are extremely vibrant and lovely. The pool villas on the hill are a bit gloomy and isolated. The kids club was very limited in variety.

Directions:
Arriving From Krabi Town or Krabi airport, take highway No 4 in the direction of Trang. At Nam Kao Intersection take route 4206 to Hua Hin approx 80 kms. At Hua hin Pier take the ferry boat to Lanta Noi then after 10 Km there is another ferry boat to saladan Pier . From Saladan 28 Km south to Ba kan tiang beach and Pimalai Resort and Spa. Note : This road requires a 4X4 car due to road condition or contact the resort for boat pick up. Time by road and local ferries about 3,5 hours or more, by hotel road & boat transportation, about 2 Hrs.
