All 270 rooms and suites are newly-refurbished and reflect a contemporary Balinese style. The rooms have been decorated with carved walls using locally-sourced Palimanan stone and feature polished teak floors and hand-woven carpets.

Almost Perfect

We had a great time at this hotel. There are a few things that need renovation which I will mention at the end of this review, but overall the hotel is very good. The only big disappointment was that we booked a King size bed and we ended up with a room with two single beds because apparently there was no King size room available... It is obvious that they decided to give our King size bed room to another customer they consider more important than us which I find very unprofessional.
Besides that, we had a good time. Below are some areas that require renovation: Jacuzzi in the main pool is not working properly. The blue chairs in the lobby need to have the fabrics replaced. The beach pool needs some renovation.

The resort grounds are exquisite. Our room was a good size, although the bathroom was a bit dated for the price of the room. There was a stain on the bed sheets our first night so we had to ask for our sheets to be changed. There needs to be more attention to detail for the price of the rooms at Laguna. The breakfast was great and service was also exceptional. Apart from the minor glitches we did enjoy the resort and its facilities.

The room was excellent with lagoon view. Loved the general setting of the hotel which was very spacey and gave relaxing atmosphere. Service was also very well managed. Restaurant was very so-so and expensive. The charge for alcohol was excessive. First time the bill in a hotel in Asia was more expensive than what I would have paid for a night out in Tokyo.
