Directions:
From Vancouver Airport
Take Grant McConachie Highway out of airport. Over Arthur Laing Bridge take Downtown Vancouver via Granville Street exit. Follow Granville Street to city center. On Granville Street Bridge take Seymour Street Exit. Take a left on Dunsmuir. Go right on Hornby. Hotel is located on the left hand side after turn.
From Seattle /I-5/
Take I-5 to Border. After Border take Highway 99. Follow 99 across Oak Street Bridge. Follow Oak Street until West Broadway and turn left. Turn right on Granville Street and follow across Bridge. On Bridge take Seymour Street Exit. Go left on Dunsmuir and right on Hornby. Hotel is located on the left.

Niche Hotel...

If you're looking for a centrally located hotel with VERY comfy beds and an aura of the Hearst era at its peak, you could do a LOT worse than the Hotel Le Soleil! Sure, being nicked $22 per day for underground parking is hard to swallow, but then there's always the $5 per day parkade across the street. (Caveat: there are no 'in-and-out' privileges at the parkade and you certainly do not want to leave any of your valuables in plain sight! 'Nuff said.)
Beyond that, there's a Starbucks just up the block and Wi-Fi was included in our very reasonable rate, so what more could one want? I know: two TVs, a huge marbled shower stall, windows that actually open, and a separate door to the bedroom! Ahhh.
All-in-all, we were pretty impressed! Like Goldilock's experience in the famous tale: it was just right.
