Superb Hotel

During our stay at the Manoir Richelieu this September we enjoyed the high standard of service and attention to detail that made our long drive from Ontario worth while. This hotel exceeded our expectations. We will certainly return. -Helmut, from Oakville, Canada - 9/16/2009

I wish there was more fluent English speakers. I also thought that since I was a Fairmont card holder I would have gotten treatment more similar to the Ottawa location. Like access to the room for tea, reading and snacks. -Carmen Henry , from orlando, United States - 3/17/2009
Not As Expected

Frankly we were disappointed. The location is truly beautiful and a great place to visit if you are interested in nature, whale watching, hiking etc..
However, otherwise there is little to do and the hotel seems focused on the Casino. We knew it was an attraction of the area but did not understand that it is literally attached. It seemed to us that the hotel made little effort to entertain guests...it was Canada Day and not a mention let alone a fire work. We also thought more effort could have been made maintaining the Hotel grounds.
Also resented the $14.95 internet fee!

This hotel is beautiful. The room was king-size thanks to the Perfect Escapes deal. The only disappointment was that the hotel has 4 restaurants, but 3 were closed due to winter season. Great place otherwise. -Alan Booth , from Plattsburgh, United States - 2/27/2008
